Warranty and Return Information

 

DAMAGE ISSUES:
If a product arrives damaged, Alaska Full Spectrum Lighting. will replace the product at no cost to the customer. Please call us at 1-888-562-1488

RETURNING PRODUCTS
All returns must be pre-approved by our return department and returned within the return policy guidelines in the original packaging. The assigned RMA number must be printed clearly on the package. Merchandise must be received undamaged. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to insure the package contents and use a traceable carrier. .

Light Bulbs, Fluorescent Tubes, & Electrical Components:
These items must be returned within 30 days of original purchase. A re-stocking fee of 20% with a minimum of $10.00 is charged on all light bulb returns and credit will be given when merchandise is received undamaged.

Damaged Products: Damaged products cannot be returned for a refund. The company will replace these damaged or defective items without charge to the customer.

WARRANTY CLAIMS & RETURNS:
Warranty claims filed within 60 days from the invoice date are handled at no cost to the customer. After 60 days we must receive all warranted products and or parts shipped pre-paid by the customer. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to insure the package contents and return it in the original packaging. Warranty claims must be filed prior to the end of the warranty period for coverage. Our warranty covers any defects with exception to structural damage and use of the product for any purpose other than its intended use. Please note product brochures and web site specifications for specific use of these products. Warranty items are not returnable for credit, but will be replaced or repaired at the supplier’s option. If an item is replaced, the product is still under warranty from the original invoice date and not the replacement date.

Light Therapy Units:
UltraLux II™ - Lifetime on unit and two years on bulbs
BlueMax™ 70w Desk & Floor Lamp - Lifetime on unit and one year on bulbs

Torchiere Floor Lamps
Paralite™ Torchiere Lamps - Two Years on unit (as of 4/21/04) and one year on bulbs
Ultralux™ Torchiere Lamps - Two Years on unit and one year on bulbs
ParaLite™ Brand Fluorescent Tubes and PCF Bulbs:
Spectra 5900 and Maxum 5000 Series Lamps - Two Years
Paralite™ Compact Fluorescents - One year (these lamps cannot be used with dimmers)

Dawn Simulators:
UltraLux™ Brand Simulator - One year on simulator, 120 days on bulbs

Alaska Full Spectrum Lighting makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, and makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. We make no medical claims as to the use of our products and advise the purchaser to consult a medical professional as to the specific use of these products.
